Accounting Department

The Town Accountant works with management and Town officials to establish and
maintain sound financial policies, controls and the Town’s credit rating.

Building Department
The Building Department is responsible for the review, inspection and permitting for new construction and/or alterations to any structures within the Town. Fire Department

Town Administrator
The Town Administrator's Office provides general administrative support to the Board of Selectmen and is responsible for the general management of all Departments.

Town Clerk
The Oak Bluffs Town Clerk’s office provides many services to our community. We work cooperatively with other town departments as well as the State of Massachusetts. This office creates an annual town census, maintains voter lists and provides proof of residency 
for the Steamship Authority. The Clerk is the registrar of vital statistics, maintains records of the adopted municipal codes and local bylaws, records state tax liens and personal property bills of sale. The Town Clerk also issues state licenses and permits, business certificates and other local licenses as mandated. This office also provides the services of Notary Public and
