Land Bank Properties

Oak Bluffs is fortunate to have four properties that were purchased and are maintained by the Land Bank in order to preserve the natural beauty of the landscaoe and enhance the opportunity for the public access.
All Land Bank properties have trailhead signage and information.

Sailing Camp Park (15 acres)

15 acres of conservation land located on Barnes Road and Lagoon Pond. Open to the public for the quiet enjoyment of walking trails, beach, picnic areas and spectacular views of the Lagoon. The Mainstay building is available for private rentals.

Featherstone Farm (18 acres)

Accessible by car, bike or on foot. Enter at sign for Featherstone Gallery off Barnes Road. Parking at the gallery. A network of woodland trails

Farm Pond Preserve (27 acres)

This lovely preserve is accessible from Tradewinds Field Preserve or directly from Beach Road just before Hart Haven going toward Edgartown. Parking is very limited & visitors are encouraged to arrive on foot or by bicycle. This extraordinary property contains marshlands and woodland trails and connects to the Tradewinds Field Preserve.

Trade Wind Field Preserve (71.8 acres)

Accessible by car, bike or on foot. Parking and bike rack off County and Tradewind Roads. A network of marked trails; combination woodlands/field connecting to Farm Pond Preserve.

Pecoy Point Preserve (17 acres)

Accessible by car (6 parking spaces), bike or on foot. Entrance off County Road via Pulpit Rock Road. Follow green Land Bank signs to Pecoy Point. Trails include marsh, woodlands and the shoreline of Sengekontacket Pond.
